Contracts Manager
Our client is seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team!
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Contracts Manager to lead the Contracts Department in both pre and post contract functions. You will be instrumental in tendering, estimation, procurement, contracts administration, cost control, reporting, cash flow monitoring, and dispute resolution, ensuring project objectives are met.
What you'll be doing?- Oversee the measurement and tender documentation processes.
- Establish tender and procurement strategies and advise on relevant contracts.
- Review cost estimations and monitor cash flow forecasts.
- Endorse payment responses and final accounts, and establish policies for payments.
- Mitigate risks and advise on dispute resolution techniques.
- Coordinate with the finance department to ensure correct billing and collection of contractual revenues.
- Build relationships with customers and liaise with suppliers to develop resource plans and monitor costs.
- Coach and develop Quantity Surveyors to their full potential.
- Follow Occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Project Management, or Construction Management.
- Knowledge: Proficiency in quantity surveying, contracts administration, and dispute resolution.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, PC literacy, and MS Office knowledge.
- Experience: At least 3 to 5 years in Contracts Administration or Quantity Surveying.
