Temporary Teaching Assistant

We are seeking Temporary Teaching Assistants for one of the International School.
This role requires someone who is on immediate basis and can commit till end of June 2026.

Key Responsibilities- Work with small groups of students under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
- Lead guided reading sessions based on teacher-defined learning objectives.
- Facilitate group activities during rotations or stations across different curriculum areas.
- Supervise educational games and free play, particularly in Early Years and Primary settings.
- Support individual students with additional needs, including working towards specific IEP targets.
- Help students develop independent and collaborative study skills, including clarifying instructions and supporting behaviour management.
- Supervise and assist students during transitions between classes and specialist lessons.
- Prepare lesson materials and activities (e.g. laminating, photocopying, setting up resources) in line with lesson plans.
- Assist in organising the classroom environment, including displays, labels, and learning resources.
- Support classroom setup at the start of term and packing up at the end of the academic year.
- Share responsibility with the class teacher for students’ academic progress and well-being.
- Participate in IEP meetings and reviews, collaborating with parents, school leaders, and relevant professionals.
- Contribute actively to students’ pastoral care, promoting their well-being and positive behaviour in line with school policies.
- Support students’ physical needs while encouraging independence (e.g. changing for PE, water play).
- Accompany students to the medical room and report any incidents to the class teacher.
- Carry out supervision duties during breaks, lunch, and bus times in accordance with school procedures.
- Support school trips and educational outings.
- Provide feedback to teachers on student progress based on observations and group work.
- Assist in documenting learning through photos, videos, and updates on school communication platforms.
- Share timely and constructive feedback on students’ achievements and development.
- Possess Minimum a Diploma holder in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Counselling, Psychology or related field.
- Minimum 1 year work experience in a school setting.
- Experience with Learning Support class will be a plus.
- Pleasant personality with excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast pace environment
