Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Full Sets of Accounts:

• Maintain accurate and timely records of financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end closing.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Statutory Filing:

• Prepare and submit statutory reports as required by local regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Group Consolidation:

• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the medical group.
• Ensure accurate reporting and consolidation of accounts across multiple subsidiaries.

Tax Schedules, Accruals, and Prepayments:

• Prepare and manage tax schedules.
• Maintain and update accruals and prepayments on a monthly basis.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in year-end audits and financial analysis.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in full sets of accounting, statutory filing, and group consolidation.
• Familiarity with managing tax schedules, accruals, and prepayments.
• Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIF, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• No quota for work pass holders
