Senior Finance Executive/Finance Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full spectrum of Accounts Receivable functions, including accurate and timely billing, collections, receipts allocation and account reconciliations.
• Handle invoice-related matters and ensure compliance with applicable tax, regulatory and internal control requirements.
• Monitor customer accounts and Accounts Receivable ageing, follow up on outstanding balances, and escalate collection risks or issues where necessary.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies, obtain the necessary supporting documents and facilitate timely collections.
• Maintain complete and accurate Accounts Receivable records and documentation to support audit, governance and reporting requirements.
• Assist with process improvements and system-related initiatives to enhance billing and collection efficiency.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded within the required timelines.
• Handle a full set of accounts for assigned entities, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations and statutory reporting.
• Prepare GST returns and supporting schedules, and assist with corporate tax filing requirements.
• Prepare balance sheet schedules and perform regular account reconciliations.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and provide the necessary schedules and supporting documents.
• Perform other finance-related duties and ad hoc assignments as required.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience. Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for the Senior Finance Executive position.
• Hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable, month-end closing and full-set accounting is preferred.
• Experience in the nursing home, eldercare or healthcare industry would be an advantage.
