Business Support Associate (Japanese Speaking) - Geylang

Our client, a prominent Japanese regional bank, is seeking a Business Support Associate (Japanese Speaker) to join their team.

In this role, you will support the bank’s clients in expanding their international business and promotional activities, primarily in Singapore and the surrounding region. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to help clients grow their presence in overseas markets.

This position reports directly to the Section Head.

• Support clients with their overseas expansion initiatives.
• Plan and organise sales events and business-matching activities to promote clients' products and services.
• Assist clients in promoting their products via cross-border e-commerce platforms.
• Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors, and regional activities related to clients' products and services.
• Source and maintain relationships with local experts, partners, and vendors.
• Promote loan services to clients and handle negotiations related to loan terms and conditions.
• Prepare meeting minutes and reports.
• Provide general support across various departmental tasks as required.

【Requirements & Preferences】

• Diploma in any field.
• Proficiency in English for internal and external communications.
• Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) for effective communication with Japanese-speaking counterparts (spoken and written).
• Experience working in a Japanese business environment or with Japanese clients.
• Able to join between the end of June and mid-July.

• Sales experience in a Japanese company or in Japanese client-facing roles.
