Airport Facilities Technician (UP$3200 | 5 Days | Electrical)

About the role

We are seeking a Facilities Technician to support the maintenance and upkeep of retail outlets and office facilities. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in building services, facilities maintenance, or electrical maintenance who are looking for a stable 5-day work week and long-term career opportunities.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance works for building facilities and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and attend to electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing, and general maintenance issues.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure facilities and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors for repair, servicing, and maintenance works.
• Investigate equipment faults and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime and recurring issues.
• Monitor workplace safety practices and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Support installation, upgrading, and maintenance projects when required.
• Maintain proper documentation and records related to maintenance activities.

• NITEC or Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in facilities, building maintenance, or electrical maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, air-conditioning, and building systems.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Possession of Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification will be an added advantage.
