Junior IT Project Manager - Choa Chu Kang

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the start-to-finish delivery of projects
• Responsible for delivery of projects of a high quality, within budget and according to the agreed schedule and users’ requirements
• Actively plan and manage project scope, schedules and resources on the project
• Monitor resource utilization to facilitate planning & scheduling of resources
• Lead diverse teams of stakeholders (internal and external)
• Identify, assess and manage the risks of the project and take appropriate mitigation actions
• Manage project scope creep and mitigate it when it occurs, manage changes in users’ requirements according to Change Control processes, schedule slippage, technical problems and shortages of resources
• Ensure timely submission of reports for projects
• Work closely with clients to ensure timely closure of contractual milestone for billing

Skills and Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years in IT Project Management (preferably mid to large scale ICT projects)
• Bachelor Degree in IT/Computer Science or related
• Technically competent with strong knowledge of networking, cloud and security systems.
• Preferably have System Integrator (SI) background
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Problem solver and critical thinker
• Project and time management skills
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• IT and Project Management Certifications – PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL v4, CITPM, PMI-ACP
