Job Description
Internship Overview
The Ecommerce & Logistics Support Intern will provide operational and administrative support to the ecommerce and logistics team. This internship is designed as a hands-on learning opportunity, allowing the intern to gain exposure to online retail operations, customer support workflows, and order fulfilment processes while assisting with daily execution.
Internship Objectives- Support smooth day-to-day ecommerce order operations
- Gain practical exposure to customer service in an ecommerce environment
- Assist in basic logistics coordination and order tracking
- Learn structured documentation and escalation processes
- Ecommerce Operations Support
- Assist with daily ecommerce order processing across platforms such as Shopify and marketplaces (e.g., Shopee, Lazada, Carousell)
- Support basic order tasks including order checks, simple edits, cancellations, and exchanges under supervision
- Help monitor order progress and flag issues such as stock shortages or fulfilment delays
- Maintain accurate records of orders, order exceptions, and inventory movements
- Customer Service Support (Ecommerce-Related)
- Assist in handling ecommerce-related customer enquiries via email, live chat, and marketplace platforms under guidance
- Support responses to basic customer questions on:
- Order status
- Product availability
- Promotions and vouchers
- Log customer enquiries and actions taken according to internal guidelines
- Escalate complex or sensitive issues to supervisors with clear notes
- Logistics & Inventory Coordination Support
- Assist in tracking deliveries and shipment statuses
- Support coordination with internal dispatch teams or logistics partners for deliveries and collections
- Learn to navigate internal systems (e.g. Warehouse Management System) to check order or stock status
- Assist with basic inventory checking or reconciliation activities when required
- Internship Type: Full-time / Part-time Intern
- Duration: 3 to 6 months
- Reporting To: Ecommerce / Product Marketing Team
- Working Arrangement: Onsite
