Mechanical Engineer (Sustainability background LTA projects)

Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Green Mark certification initiatives, conducting energy audits and sustainability assessments, preparing technical reports and recommendations, and coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities to ensure compliance with sustainability standards and project requirements throughout various stages of project execution.

Location: West Singapore (Commonwealth) / SITE

Key responsibilities:

• Perform engineering duties including design, engineering calculations, planning, sustainability assessments, and tender preparation/evaluation as part of the engineering project team
• Support Green Mark certification initiatives, energy audits, and sustainability compliance activities for infrastructure and building projects
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, technical reports, sustainability reports, and engineering deliverables
• Conduct site inspections and assessments of building systems including ACMV, lighting, and energy-related systems to support project performance improvements
• Liaise and coordinate with clients, project managers, consultants, architects, contractors, and relevant authorities on technical and sustainability-related matters
• Assist in resolving technical and coordination issues encountered during project design and construction stages
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, sustainability standards, safety regulations, and industry requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Experience in LTA projects would be advantageous
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in sustainability engineering, Green Mark projects, or energy-related project environments
• Sustainability background and experience in Green Mark certification, energy audits, or sustainability assessments would be advantageous
• Familiarity with ACMV systems, building services, and sustainability-related engineering practices
• Good understanding of current industry standards, sustainability regulations, and technical requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within project timelines
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and commitment to delivering quality engineering and customer service outcomes
• Proficient in engineering software and technical documentation preparation
• Candidates with 2-3 years working experience in Sustainability are welcome to apply
