Academic Support Teacher (Primary) – English / Math / Science / Chinese | Student Care Responsibilities - Geylang

About the Role
We are looking for dedicated and capable educators to join our student care and enrichment centre. As an Academic Support Teacher, you will support Primary 1 to 5 students with their academic work and deliver structured enrichment lessons. You’ll help students strengthen their understanding and build confidence across key primary-level subjects.
This is a full-time, centre-based role suited for educators who thrive in structured environments and can work confidently with both children and parents.
Key Responsibilities- Guide and support students in MOE subjects — up to Primary 5 (no P6 syllabus involved).
- Support students in at least two MOE-aligned core subjects: English, Math, Science, or Chinese
- Deliver in-house enrichment programmes based on established curriculum
- Track and document student progress and individual learning needs
- Prepare teaching materials and manage classroom setup
- Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers
- Ensure safe transfer of students from school to the centre daily
- Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching or tutoring primary-level students
- Comfortable providing academic support in at least two core subjects (English, Math, Science, or Chinese) at the primary school level
- Diploma or higher in a relevant field is required
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Also suitable for fresh graduates or early-career educators (with interest in academic support and student care).
Work Schedule
This role follows a predictable, structured rhythm — 5.5 days per week (Monday to Saturday mid-day), including fixed Saturday mornings from 8:30am–12:30pm.There are no rotating shifts, split days, or unexpected weekend duties. This schedule allows for consistent planning and reliable team coverage.
