Project Manager or Senior Project Manager - Pasir Ris

Job Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and daily report to Associate Project Director
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring that project goals and objectives are met.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Select, supervise, and evaluate contractors and subcontractors, ensuring that their work meets project requirements and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders or company management.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans to address potential issues or delays.
• Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Negotiate contracts and resolve disputes with contractors, suppliers and other parties.
• Prepare and process project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders and progress reports.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality control and address any on-site issues.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment and promote teamwork and professionalism.

• Lead and manage complex and strategically significant projects or multiple related projects.
• Mentor and supervise project managers and project coordinators by setting clear performance expectations, monitoring their project execution and providing regular feedback on their performance.
• Manage significant project budgets and financial reporting, providing strategic financial oversight.

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in construction/project management, or a related field.
• Candidates possess Project Management Professional (PMP) related certificate is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, with a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects.
• Candidates with greater experiences and strong leadership skills will be considered as senior role
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Working hours - 5.5 days (9am to 6pm, Mondays to Fridays 9am to 1pm, Saturdays)
