[ref. l47017716] Bukit Merah - Underwriting Assistant (12 months Contract)
The Role
This position has the responsibility to provide underwriting-related administrative support for the Energy & Construction team, including liaising and interacting with key support functions including Underwriting support services, WNS, Credit Control, Payment, Claims, Actuarial, Risk & Compliance, Finance based in Singapore under a Fixed-Term Contract for 12 months only.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to underwriters and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory procedures
- Underwriting administrative support for the team related to pre-underwriting process, data cleansing, quotation tracking, EPI monitoring, risk registry and etc.
- Completing of pre-underwriting and post-bind tasks (contract check, maintain digitally stored underwriting files
- Bordereaux management – data input, cross checking bdx
- General portfolio monitoring for different internal department
- Assist in developing the Energy & Construction and proposition in APAC & MENA.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in our policy management systems.
- Maintain good relationships with external and internal parties as appropriate.
- Compile statistics and analyse performance of all risks and accounts.
Skills:
- (Re)insurance administration experience is essential
- Broad exposure to underwriting systems and processes
- Strong proficiency in Excel would be an advantage
- Lloyd’s and/or London market experience would be an advantage.
- Degree preferable but not essential
- Strong IT skills, literacy, numerate and having analytical and negotiation skills.
