  • What You’ll Be Doing

Credit Management:

  • Develop and enforce comprehensive credit control policies and procedures to minimize risks associated with credit sales.
  • Conduct ongoing evaluations of customer creditworthiness and financial health.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and proactively follow up on overdue accounts.

Collections Management:

  • Lead and manage the collections process to ensure timely receipt of customer payments.
  • Implement effective collections strategies, including structured follow-ups, payment arrangements, and dispute resolution protocols.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile discrepancies in customer accounts.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of credit control and collections professionals, promoting a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Define performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and deliver training to build team capability.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers to support transparent and effective communication regarding payment matters.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve disputes promptly and professionally to maintain positive business relationships.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate regular reports on collection performance and accounts receivable aging for senior leadership.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to improve credit and collections processes.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in credit and collections activities.
  • Identify credit-related risks and adapt strategies to mitigate exposure.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work in close partnership with sales, finance, and other departments to align credit management efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
  • What You Bring
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in credit control and collections, with 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Proven expertise in Auto Finance and Property-Backed Loans.
  • Strong command of credit evaluation, collection strategies, and legal frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation abilities, and attention to detail.
