About the Role
This role is to provide technical and operational support across site safety, health, and environmental functions. This is a backend and strategic role, focusing on strengthening systems, processes, and compliance frameworks rather than purely ground-level data collection.
You will play a key role in supporting HSE initiatives, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities
HSE Planning & Support- Identify gaps in corporate HSE initiatives and local regulatory requirements
- Support implementation and sustainability of HSE management systems
- Maintain accurate records in line with data protection and retention policies
- Promote a strong safety culture integrated into daily operations
- Act as a key HSE resource, providing guidance on internal processes
- Support hazard identification, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Assist with corrective and preventive action tracking and closure
- Coordinate environmental management activities
- Deliver training and awareness programs to promote HSE compliance
- Participate in HSE inspections and audits
- Support analysis of incident trends and safety data
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and reporting
- Maintain local HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance
- Support emergency response planning and training
- Drive employee engagement to foster a strong safety culture
- Follow standard work processes and quality procedures
- Support quality checks and non-conformance control
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve safety and operational efficiency
- Diploma or Degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Management, Sustainability or related field
- Relevant experience in HSE, safety management, or environmental functions
- Strong understanding of risk assessment, incident investigation, and HSE systems
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a structured environment
