The SGH Research and Innovation Office oversees the SGH’s overall research and innovation strategies, synergising capabilities in support of the research and innovation vision of the Hospital, which is “To advance and transform care for individual and population health, through conducting world-class research and innovation and nurturing a community of future-ready healthcare research professionals”.
The SGH Research and Innovation Office’s mission is to enable research and innovation in SGH.
We are seeking a Research Strategy Executive to support our mission of advancing research excellence at SGH.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of strategic research initiatives to achieve research objectives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate the execution of research strategy initiatives
- Coordinate and organise engagements and meetings with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and foster collaboration
- Manage various research communication platforms, including newsletters, infopedia, corporate research webpage, and email blasts, to disseminate research information effectively
- Review requests for IT purchases and monitor Network Attached Storage utilisation to optimise resources and support research activities
- Perform administrative and secretariat duties to support department, such as i) manage Research Committee appointments and providing secretariat duties for standing meetings, ii) collate/prepare reports, presentations, or data from relevant stakeholders for submission to relevant departments, iii) schedule meetings, manage Research and Innovation Director/Deputy Director’s calendar
- Provide administrative and operational support for the efficient functioning of research office, as well as any other duties as assigned
- Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration. Preferably with at least 2 years of research administration experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Meticulous, with strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritise tasks and multi-task
- Good communication and coordination skills, able to work with people from diverse backgrounds
- Flexible and adaptable to work in a dynamic work environment, with ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Resourceful and self-motivated team player, with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in MS Office software
