CHP Law is an organisation that offers sensitive, multidisciplinary, and yet practical approaches to law, drawing on the well of experience and knowledge that the founding team provides. As CHP Law enters the next phase of its growth, the organisation is looking to augment its core competencies by building core, infrastructural teams.
As the HR executive for CHP Law, they would handle a variety of administrative tasks, duties and services to effectively support our organisation, primarily in the space of human resources. The primary duties and responsibilities of a HR executive are to liaise with each department in our organisation and to glean their HR needs and to act on them, thereby enabling smooth communication and speedy execution of requests, queries about or questions from staff.
In the course of work, the HR executive may be required to handle sensitive employee or client information, and as such, discretion and sensitivity are a prerequisite for any prospective candidate. The overall goal is for all our organisation’s HR needs to be met smoothly and to strive to attract and retain the best talent for the company.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Working with the partners on recruitment, posting job vacancies, reviewing job applications
- Arranging interviews with suitable candidates and conducting candidate reference checks.
- Preparing HR documents, such as employment contracts, HR policies and employee handbooks.
- Maintaining employee records and ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
- Working with the partners to develop onboarding processes for new employees, which may include their introduction to internal company processes, and overseeing onboarding
- Assisting in implementing company-wide processes, protocols and practices.
- Assisting with payroll preparation by tracking relevant employee data, such as performance reviews and feedback, leave and benefits
- Supporting employee relations initiatives, assisting with employee conflict resolution and
- Facilitating daily communication as to the HR needs of the organization’s various teams.
- Assisting with exit processes for outgoing employees.
- Working with stakeholders on the planning and delivery of HR-related events, such as employee orientation, staff training, seminars, company-wide meetings, employee recognition occasions and other social events.
The role is ideal for an independent and inherently motivated individual who would be interested in building and maintaining their own work structures, frameworks, and practices, and will require initiative and a problem-solving attitude.
