Role overview
As Growth Manager, Innovation Ecosystem, you will be the engine behind Agorize's startup community and pipeline growth. You will play a frontline role during Open Innovation Challenges - actively scouting, qualifying, and engaging high-potential startups to participate as applicants.Beyond programme support, you will own growth campaigns, automated outreach, and CRM health to ensure a consistent and growing pipeline of innovators.
Key responsibilities
Startup scouting & ecosystem engagement- Proactively identify and qualify high-potential startups through desk research, ecosystem databases (Crunchbase, Tracxn, etc.), and network mapping.
- Support client Open Innovation Challenges end-to-end - from applicant outreach and challenge promotion to submission tracking and community management.
- Represent Agorize at startup and innovation ecosystem events as required.
- Plan and execute targeted email and social media campaigns to drive startup registrations and challenge participation.
- Develop compelling copywriting and content (newsletters, LinkedIn posts, landing page copy) tailored to innovator audiences.
- Support paid acquisition initiatives and coordinate with external partners or agencies when required.
- Leverage AI-powered tools and automation workflows to scale outreach efficiently without sacrificing personalisation.
- Maintain and optimise CRM pipelines (Zoho) to ensure accurate tracking of lead status, engagement, and conversion.
- Produce regular pipeline reports and data-driven insights to inform growth strategy.
- Implement and refine automated sequences for lead nurturing and re-engagement.
What we're looking for
Must have- Language skills: Fluent in English
- Growth mindset: 2 - 4 years of experience in growth marketing, business development, partnerships, or community management, ideally in a startup, accelerator, or innovation-adjacent environment.
- Copywriting & communication: Strong written communication skills; able to craft concise, persuasive outreach copy for diverse audiences.
- Data-driven approach: Comfortable working with CRM tools, campaign analytics, and spreadsheets to track performance and optimise outreach.
- Proactiveness & ownership: Self-driven and independent; you don't wait to be told - you spot an opportunity and go after it.
- Organisation under pressure: Able to manage multiple outreach campaigns and programme timelines simultaneously, especially during intensive challenge phases.
- AI & automation tools: Experience with AI tools for workflow automation and outreach sequencing.
- Startup ecosystem knowledge: Familiarity with the APAC startup landscape and innovation ecosystem players (VCs, accelerators, government innovation bodies).
- Design basics: Light editing skills in Canva or similar for campaign visuals.
- HTML/CSS basics: A plus for managing email templates or landing pages without relying on engineers.
- A dynamic, international team of 15 nationalities with a flat, collaborative culture.
