ETL Developer (Data Engineer) - Toa Payoh

Experience in the gaming domain and a strong understanding of ETL tools and processes are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflows to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Build and maintain Kafka connectors and ensure seamless real-time data streaming.
• Write efficient SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Develop Linux shell scripts for automation and data integration tasks.
• Work independently to design, code, test, and implement scalable data solutions.
• Create and maintain data models to support various applications and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Support the deployment and maintenance of data solutions in production environments.
• Ensure adherence to development best practices, security policies, and performance standards.
• Contribute to DevOps and integration technology efforts, where applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on development experience.
• Strong experience with Kafka, including building and managing Kafka connectors.
• Proficiency in SQL Programming and working with MySQL databases.
• Experience with Linux scripting (bash, shell scripts).
• Sound knowledge of data modeling concepts and techniques.
• Basic to intermediate skills in Java programming for Kafka-related development.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as SSIR/SSIS.
• Good understanding of development, implementation, and production support processes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and integration technologies is a plus.
