We are looking for an Architectural Technician (Authority submissions) to be a key part of our team, who will be responsible for implementing our projects on site.
Job Title: Architectural Technician (Authority Submissions)Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time (Flexible arrangement available)
Responsibilities- Prepare submission drawings
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project timelines
- Authority Submissions & Regulatory Compliance
Prepare, coordinate and manage submissions to relevant authorities
including:
- URA
- BCA
- SCDF
- PUB
- NEA
- LTA (where applicable)
- Other statutory boards as required
- Liaise directly with authority officers and consultants to resolve technical queries.
- Ensure all drawings and documents comply with current codes, regulations, and submission guidelines.
- Track approval timelines and manage resubmissions where necessary.
- Coordinate with QPs and project team for compliances
- Advise design team on regulatory constraints early in design stages.
- Prepare and check submissions in accordance with CORENET / regulatory requirements.
- Assist in handling technical issues during construction stage where regulatory interpretation is required.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, VRay / Enscape
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Singapore authority submissions.
- Strong working knowledge of:
o URA Planning Guidelines
o BCA Regulations
o Fire Code (SCDF)
o Accessibility Code
o Buildability & BIM submission requirements- Experience in landed housing, hotel or industrial projects is highly preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, CORENET X e-submission process
- Bonus: BIM (Revit preferred)
- Highly detail-oriented, systematic and organised.
- Strong communication skills when liaising with authorities, QP and consultants.
