Role Overview

As part of Income Insurance’s commitment to upholding high sales conduct and regulatory compliance standards, we seek a Manager, Sales Quality to join our Retail Financial Services (RFS) team. This role is critical in supporting the division’s risk, conduct, and sales compliance efforts, particularly in light of a growing and evolving advisor base.

The incumbent will reinforce ethical sales practices, guide new advisors, and reduce regulatory infractions and downstream complaints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion implementing and reinforcing sales conduct and ethics compliance across the RFS channel.
  • Collaborate with General Channel Managers (GCMs) and Channel Managers (CMs) to review Business Sales Conduct (BSC) findings and provide actionable guidance to ensure adherence to frameworks and guidelines.
  • Support new-to-industry advisors by reinforcing regulatory knowledge and compliance expectations beyond initial training programs (e.g., BES).
  • Identify and address gaps in sales advisory processes that may lead to regulatory breaches or customer complaints.
  • Work closely with compliance and risk teams to proactively manage conduct risks and implement adequate controls.
  • Monitor and analyze sales quality metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to reducing downstream escalations and complaints through early intervention and advisor coaching.
  • Assist in developing and continuously improving sales quality frameworks, tools, and training materials.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Degree in Business or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a compliance, sales quality, or advisory role.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and sales conduct frameworks in the insurance sector.
  • Experience working with or supporting financial advisors, especially in a high-churn or growth environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with digital tools and platforms.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
