What you'll be doing- Conducting comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments
- Diagnosing and managing a wide range of vision-related conditions
- Prescribing and dispensing corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses
- Providing treatment and management for ocular diseases and injuries
- Educating patients on proper eye care and hygiene practices
- Collaborating with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintaining detailed patient records and complying with all relevant regulations
- Registered optometrist with a valid practicing certificate
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in an optometry or ophthalmology setting
- Excellent clinical skills and a thorough understanding of the latest diagnostic and treatment techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with patients
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills to handle a diverse range of patient needs
- Commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry advancements
