Network Engineer / Pre-Sales Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Network Engineer / Pre-Sales Engineer to support enterprise networking solutions and provide technical expertise throughout the sales and implementation process.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers, sales teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver networking solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, conduct product testing, and support business growth through technical consultation and solution design.

• Provide technical support across a full range of enterprise networking products and solutions.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve networking and system-related problems.
• Conduct testing, validation, and evaluation of new products and solutions.
• Design and recommend networking solutions based on customer requirements.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals to customers.
• Support proof-of-concept (POC) activities and technical evaluations.
• Work closely with sales teams during pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of networking technologies, products, and industry trends.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in networking, technical support, systems engineering, pre-sales engineering, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with networking products such as switches, routers, wireless access points, gateways, and related technologies.
• Good understanding of business networking solutions, including LAN/WAN infrastructure, wireless networking, gateways, IP CCTV, and network security concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting networking and technical issues in enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications will be an advantage.

• Salary up to SGD5,000 per month.
• Variable annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
• Quarterly commission scheme applicable upon successful completion of probation.

Allowances

• Monthly mobile allowance of SGD70.

• Monthly transport allowance provided based on travel requirements and work location.
