As the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply chain operations in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, focusing on procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.The role involves developing and executing strategies for sourcing, cost containment, and supply chain optimization while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The manager will also lead cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and oversee the global sourcing and supplier management process.

Responsibilities- Demand and Supply Planning: Develop and manage production and inventory plans to meet market demand. Analyse demand forecasts and resolve related issues.
- Procurement and Supplier Management: Source raw materials, packaging components, and manage supplier relationships. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards during procurement
- Logistics and Distribution: Coordinate transportation, and delivery of products while adhering to Good Distribution Practices (GDP). Manage import/export operations and ensure timely dispatch of goods.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, expiration dates, and minimize waste through effective inventory management systems.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure processes comply with cGMP and with local regulatory requirements. Maintain readiness for inspections and audits.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities in supply chain processes and implement solutions for efficiency improvements, cost savings, and risk mitigations.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team, driving performance and accountability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) are a plus.
- 6-8 years in supply chain management, including experience in a pharmaceutical environment and global sourcing.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, financial analysis, and project management skills. Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
- High level of integrity and professionalism ensuring compliance, confidentiality, and adherence to industry regulations and standards.
- Strong understanding of industry regulations (e.g., GMP, GDP).
- This role requires strategic planning skills combined with hands-on problem-solving abilities to ensure seamless operations in a highly regulated environment.
