Assistant Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with monthly financial closing and prepare management reports
  • Support statutory audits and preparation of financial statements, liaising with auditors
  • Coordinate GST and corporate tax filings with tax agents
  • Participate in monthly stock-taking and assist with inventory management
  • Handle banking-related transactions and day-to-day financial activities
  • Review and support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
  • Prepare invoices, debit notes, and journal entries for rebates, claims, and miscellaneous charges
  • Manage collections, receipt application, and debtor ageing to maintain current accounts
  • Resolve customer billing queries, payment discrepancies, and disputes
  • Support daily cash reporting and monitoring
  • Prepare and submit government statistical reports as required
  • Perform ad-hoc accounting or finance tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience in FMCG, supermarket, consumer goods, or fast-food industries preferred
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to work independently
