Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and strategic Finance Manager to lead our finance function, reporting directly to the Executive Director. The role will oversee day-to-day finance operations, statutory compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting, supported by administrative staff and an outsourced accountant.

• Manage full spectrum of finance operations, including AP, AR, GL, and cash flow management.
• Oversee the work of administrative staff and outsourced accountant to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports for review.
• Develop annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including audits, tax filings, and regulatory submissions.
• Maintain and enhance the accounting system (SAGE) for efficient financial processes.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee grant applications, funding utilisation, and reporting to relevant agencies.

• Degree/Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, preferably in non-profit or SME environments.
• Proficient in SAGE or similar accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead a small team and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
