Purchasing Executive

Responsibilities :

• Tactical sourcing and procurement of all product categories required for the hotels.
• Liaise with internal users to procure goods/services in a timely, effective and compliant manner.
• Work closely with all departments on alternatives and cost savings management.
• Maintaining the CheckSCM Purchasing System.
• Manage vendors to ensure quality, pricing and delivery objectives are met.
• Build rapport with vendors and maintain a strong network of vendors.
• Driving alignment within all the properties and comply with the Hotel Purchasing SOP.
• Any other duties/tasks as requested by management.

Requirements :

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in purchasing in the Hospitality industry.
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Organized, meticulous with excellent communications & negotiation skills.
• Good analysing and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive in pursuit of learning and is willing to put in the time and effort required to gain new skills and knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with CheckSCM Purchasing Software.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications to perform analytical tasks and reports.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with facilities management experience are also welcome to apply.
