Procurement Manager (F&B Chain)
Our client is seeking a Procurement Manager (F&B Chain) to join their team!
Joining our team as a Procurement Manager will provide you with an exciting opportunity to lead and manage all aspects of procurement activities. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and services across our multiple business units, while maintaining cost-effective and compliant purchasing practices.With a strong emphasis on supplier relationships and inventory cost control, you'll play a key role in driving our company's success.

Other information- Working Day: 5 days
- Working Hour: 830am-6pm
- Working Location: Currently at Aljunied, will be moving to Senoko in 3 months time.
- Salary Range: S$5,000-S$7,000
- Manage procurement activities: Oversee and coordinate all procurement tasks, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials, packaging, equipment, and services.
- Supplier management: Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best value and quality, both locally and internationally.
- Compliance and quality assurance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and industry standards, including Halal/SFA/F&B requirements.
- Inventory management: Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules to prevent stockouts and ensure business continuity.
- Budget and cost control: Work with finance to manage procurement budgets, analyze spend data, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- ERP system management: Maintain accurate item master data within the NAV ERP system and support procurement-related audits and compliance reports.
- Educational background: A degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, particularly in the food and beverage manufacturing or retail sector.
- Team Management: Ability to lead and manage a team.
- Technical skills: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (ERP system) is a must.
- Analytical and negotiation skills: Strong analytical abilities, negotiation skills, and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
- Communication skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers, internal teams, and management.
- Organizational skills: Meticulous and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
