• Possess in-depth knowledge and experience in FX Trading with good P&L records in FX Trading
• Able to converse well in English and Mandarin (as this person will liaise in Mandarin at times with some HQ colleagues)
• Well versed with programming, modelling and data analysis

Our client is a renowned Listed Energy Trading Company which is the largest player in its industry. The company is fast growing with good future potential. It is looking to hire an experienced FX trading to join the business.

FX Trader

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee company’s and Group’s FX exposure and risk
• Leverage on the different FX tools to generate profit for the company
• Provide Management with market analysis and trading strategies based on in- depth understanding of global geopolitical, markets and macroeconomic developments
• Collaborate with other trading teams to support the company’s overall profitability
• Ensure trading risks are in accordance with internal and external compliance regulations
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities when assigned

Education and Experience required:

• Degree/Masters in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, other relevant studies or equivalent
• Min 5 years of relevant working experience or experience in FX Trading, some of which is gained in the commodity trading environment

Competencies and Skill Sets required:

• Possess in-depth knowledge and experience in FX Trading with good P&L records in FX Trading
• Able to converse well in English and Mandarin (as this person will liaise in Mandarin at times with some HQ colleagues)
• Possess strong communication skills to communicate different stakeholders
• Highly numerate and strong in mathematics
• Well versed with programming, modelling and data analysis
• A good team player who is proactive, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
