Production Engineering

Maximize efficiency of operation and machine utilization.
Train Assistant Engineer/ Production Technician to ensure that they are able to perform their job effectively.
Monitor and minimize scrap rate and improve yield in the section.
Ensure that proper and documented maintenance of machines and equipment used in production.
Co-ordinate with R&D in new product development.
Standardize and document new process development and provide training to the staff.
Implement cost reduction and productivity improvement.
Maintain facilities to ensure equipment is in good and efficient working conditions.
Make proposals for further improvement and implement it in production upon proposal.
Machine troubleshooting and upgrade.

Quality Management system

Ensure that work is performed in accordance to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality Management System
Ensure in-line QC, SPC and disciplined documentation of data.
Monitor and improve process stability and SPC / process capability values.
Maintain and improve product quality.
Take corrective and prevent recurrence action if non-conformance is found or process is out of control.
Participate in the customer complaint-working group to assist and implement corrective and prevent recurrence action.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanics or related fields.
Formal academic study of PLC program.
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
Hands on experience with Siemens PLCs, familiarity with Siemens TIA Portal or Step 7 software.
