Warehouse Assistant

As Warehouse Assistant, you assist in running an efficient and effective warehouse operation. You receive, sort, store, pick and pack parts and supplies to ensure goods are efficiently moved into the warehouse and processed.

• Receive, check quantity & quality and sort incoming parts and supplies.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse.
• Receive and process incoming requisitions and issue parts and supplies for delivery.
• Maintain records of orders and the amount and location of parts and supplies.
• Examine, segregate returned goods and notify relevant internal departments.
• Ensure all stock areas are kept clear & tidy for ease of picking and in line with safety requirements.

• Liaise with forwarder, confirm delivery terms with supplier and provide invoice and packing list to the forwarder.

• Ensure world class customer service is achieved.
• Ensure compliance with Vallen’s operations policies and procedures

• Ability to work in a team
• Organised
• Forklift or scissor lift certificates
