Toa Payoh - Software Engineer

We are looking for a software engineer to join our vibrant and driven team working on solving challenging problems in robotics and digital twin. As a software engineer under the projects team at dConstruct, you will be building the systems needed to tackle the complex real-world problems we seek to tackle.

Responsibility:

1. Develop sensor drivers and integrate sensors in the assigned project
2. Develop a core C++ programme to perform data collection on a mobile platform.
3. Develop a native program to analyze and visualize data collected.
4. Liaise with a hardware team and other stake holders to ensure that the mobile data collection platform is functional and robust for the project.
5. Understand stakeholder requirements to develop relevant software features

Requirements:

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related fields. Experience and knowledge in robotics fields are preferred.
2. Good foundation in modern C++/programming
3. Strong foundation in Data Structures/Algorithms
4. Understand concepts in memory allocation, cache performance, data-oriented programming
5. Comfortable in writing and debugging high performance native code
6. Comfortable working on large code bases
7. Able to do technical communication to understand and explain the needs of end-users
8. Good technical communication skills
9. Comfortable with linear algebra and/or geometry
