Job Description
We're seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Assistant Director to lead team! As a key player, you'll oversee administrative functions, strategic development, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement Centre strategy with Executive Director and Management Team
- Oversee daily administrative functions and project management
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Lead outreach activities with government, practice, policy, and research stakeholders
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Contract Management:
- Lead negotiations and agreements for procurement and contracts
- Manage audit queries and ensure compliance with regulations
- Team Management:
- Act as direct and matrix manager for Centre staff
- Deputise for Executive Director and represent the Centre as required
- Qualifications: Good first degree in management, education, communication, or relevant discipline
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant working experience in management, administration, or education
- Skills:
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
