Job Title: WSH Safety Coordinator (M&E / Semiconductor Project)

Salary Range: SGD 3,000 – SGD 4,500 (Depending on experience)
Job Summary
We are an established engineering firm specializing in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) installation, ducting, piping, and architectural fit-out (including common pipe racks) for major semiconductor plant projects. We are looking for a dedicated and responsible WSH Safety Coordinator to oversee daily on-site safety operations, ensuring full compliance with Singapore's WSH regulations and strict cleanroom protocols.
As our main contractor's management team and key project stakeholders conduct business primarily in Mandarin, fluency in both English and Mandarin is a strict requirement for this role. Key Responsibilities- Daily Site Inspection: Conduct daily safety inspections at project sites (covering both heavy M&E stages and cleanroom fit-out stages); identify hazards, and immediately enforce corrective actions.
- Risk Assessment (RA): Assist in developing, updating, and implementing Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures (SWP) tailored to M&E and hook-up works.
- Safety Briefings & Training: Conduct daily Toolbox Talks/Meetings and safety induction training for site workers and subcontractors to raise safety awareness.
- Compliance & Management: Assist in maintaining and implementing the company’s BizSAFE and ISO 45001 safety management systems.
- Incident Investigation: In the event of an incident or near-miss, assist in thorough investigation, reporting, and implementation of preventive measures according to MOM guidelines.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date and organized safety logs, permits-to-work (PTW), and safety certificates to ensure readiness for MOM or client audits.
Requirements
Language Proficiency (STRICT REQUIREMENT): Fluency in both spoken and written Mandarin and English is mandatory. You will need to attend project meetings, coordinate safety protocols, and cross-communicate daily with a Mandarin-speaking Main Contractor management team and sub-contractors, as well as write safety reports/documentation in English for authorities.
Mandatory Certification: Must possess at least an Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) or equivalent certification recognized by MOM.
Experience & Education: Diploma or above. Experience in semiconductor plant projects, M&E, or cleanroom environments is highly preferred, but not mandatory. Candidates with a strong willingness to learn are welcome.
