Driven by Singapore Sustainability Roadmap and the global demand in sustainability and decarbonization, our team is expanding, and we are looking for candidates who expressed interest in the built environment to provide advisory to stakeholders and lead project team to attain their sustainable goals and visions.

You will also provide expert advisory services in developing decarbonization roadmaps, helping clients achieve their carbon-neutral or net-zero ambitions.

Responsibilities:

1. Client Consultation: Work closely with clients to understand their sustainability goals and objectives. Provide advisory on sustainability and carbon accounting, reporting and decarbonization strategies.
2. Reporting Guidance: Assist clients to align their sustainability and decarbonization commitment, in alignment with international recognized standard and framework (eg. GRI, SASB, IFRS, TCFD).
3. Carbon Footprint Assessments: Conduct carbon footprint assessment (Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3) for the built environment, focusing on corporates and buildings. Identify opportunities for sustainable construction, design for optimal maintainability design and operational best practices.
4. Collaboration: Collaborate with agency (e.g. BCA, SGBC, JTC) to integrate industry feedback and project experience to improve available carbon accounting and reporting tools. Explore opportunities to build up more localised data base for transparent and accurate carbon accounting and reporting.
5. Education and Training: Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients and project teams to raise awareness about green building practices, including carbon accounting and reporting. Create awareness on the benefits of sustainable design construction and operation and how these principles shall be adopted and integrated in decarbonization roadmap.
6. Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, advancements in sustainability regulations, green building practices, carbon accounting and reporting methodology. Continuously enhance expertise through training and professional development.

Qualifications:

• A degree (preferably a master’s degree) in Sustainability, Science, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
• Prior experience working with a consulting firm or government agency focused on sustainability reporting, decarbonization, or environmental initiatives is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Sustainability Reporting/Climate-related Disclosure Reporting aligned to international standards (e.g. GRI, SASB, IFRS S1, IFRS S2, TCFD).
• In-depth knowledge on carbon accounting, reporting and verification aligned to international framework and standard (e.g. GHG Protocol, ISO 14064-1, ISO 14064-3, BS EN 15978).
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills including fluency in both spoken and written English.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
