Automation Engineer

About the role

This full-time position is based in the Clementi West Region, offering the opportunity to work on exciting and innovative projects.

• Researching, planning, designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining control and monitoring systems,
• Design, develop, and implement automated control systems, including PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA integration
• Prepare designs and review assembly of electrical control panels.
• Preparation of control deliverables control system configuration, IO List, alarm list, interlock list, Interlock Block Diagram, and other control sequence document.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test & assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, testing and commissioning work

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics a related field
• Fresh or 1 to 3 years of experience as an Automation Engineer or in a similar role
• Knowledge or experience in develop PLC programming
• Hands-on experience in HMI and SCADA development, integration, and troubleshooting
• Candidates that have experience building a control logic and solution from the ground would provide added value
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, engineers, and technicians
• Up-to-date knowledge of automation industry standards, regulations, and best practices
