Technical Manager/Engineering Manager

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Manager / Engineering Manager to lead the development and continuous improvement of advanced semiconductor equipment, with a focus on sorter machines.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, leading high-performing teams, and delivering precision systems used in semiconductor manufacturing.

• Lead and mentor a team of design engineers in the development of semiconductor equipment, from module design to full machine conceptualization
• Drive product innovation and continuous improvement (CIP) to enhance performance, extend product lifecycle, and improve cost competitiveness
• Oversee machine reliability, feasibility testing, and validation to ensure high precision and performance
• Partner with Technical Sales on specification review, costing, and solution evaluation
• Own and resolve technical issues across the product line, including field-related challenges
• Ensure machine performance at customer sites, including troubleshooting and optimization
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, DIVE)

Job Requirement:

1. Degree or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
2. Strong experience in automation equipment design, preferably in semiconductor industry (sorter machines highly preferred)
3. Solid background in high precision, high-speed mechanical systems
4. Proficient in CAD tools such as Creo or SolidWorks
5. Knowledge of semiconductor packaging and assembly processes
6. Proven experience in a technical leadership role, managing teams and projects
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with structured methodologies
