Job Description:

  • Assist in creating and processing purchase orders (POs) and purchase requisitions.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, lead times, and order confirmations.
  • Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier information, and inventory data.
  • Track and follow up on outstanding orders and deliveries.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, accounts, and internal departments regarding stock, invoices, and delivery schedules.
  • Help source and evaluate potential suppliers under the direction of the Purchasing Officer/Manager.
  • Monitor stock levels and update inventory systems.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and documentation of procurement activities.
  • Assist in resolving any delivery, quality, or invoice discrepancies with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Perform any ad hoc tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum O-Level / SPM / Nitec / Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative support.
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes and documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
