Construction Manager (PUB Project)

Job Scopes:

• Reports to Project Manager.
• Responsible for the planning and safe execution of the construction works.
• Shall be stationed on site on a full time basis for the duration of the construction work
• Works closely with client, vendors, subcontractors, consultants and engineering team to ensure timely construction.
• Manages field engineers and supervisors.
• Plans and manages temporary works.
• Ensures works are executed according to contract specifications.
• Chairs construction progress meeting and daily construction coordination meetings
• Ensures the project is implemented according to company’s project implementation plan and policies.
• Chairs regular internal progress meetings.
• Attends meetings with client, authorities and subcontractors.
• Supports HQ in tender preparation.

Requirements (Qualification & Experience):

• The Construction Manager shall possess a university engineering degree or professional qualification recognised by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore, unless otherwise accepted by the S.O.
• The Construction Manager shall have about Ten (10) years Construction experience and have been involved in Civil construction projects of similar type and complexity, preferably in the construction/development of water/used water treatment plants.
• The Construction Manager shall possess a Certificate of Construction Safety Course for Project Managers (CSCPM) or approved equivalent qualifications
