The opportunity

Legendary Hong Kong Pte Ltd is seeking an exceptional Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our vibrant team in Rochester, In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our renowned restaurant, renowned for its authentic Cantonese cuisine.

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, customer service, inventory control, and financial reporting
• Ensure excellent customer experience by providing attentive and personalized service to all guests
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation
• Implement and monitor operational procedures to optimise efficiency and productivity
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of restaurant staff
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers to maintain inventory and control costs
• Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager role, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Exceptional customer service orientation and the ability to deliver a consistently outstanding dining experience
• Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, inventory control, and cost-saving initiatives
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Thorough understanding of food safety, health, and licensing regulations
