Desktop Support Engineer - Bukit Merah

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop systems, including PC configurations and software installations.
2. Ensure the smooth operation of office equipment, such as video conferencing systems, printers, attendance systems, projectors, and surveillance systems.
3. Oversee IT office setup and maintenance, with knowledge of office electrical (high/low voltage) principles.
4. Manage the lifecycle of IT equipment assets.
5. Assist in server maintenance and contribute to the development of IT automation systems.

Requirements:

1. Familiarity with networking systems, including TCP/IP, routing & switching, load balancing, firewalls, and wireless networks, with the ability to diagnose and resolve common network issues.
2. Proficient in installing and configuring Windows/Linux/macOS systems and troubleshooting daily operational problems.
3. Skilled in diagnosing hardware issues with desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, etc., and capable of basic hardware/software troubleshooting.
4. Experience in managing DNS, AD, FTP, LDAP configurations, and knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).
5. Prior experience in maintaining Windows and macOS systems, including OS reinstallation on office computers.
6. Knowledgeable in IT office environment setup, including high/low voltage cabling.
7. Experience in IDC operations (e.g., server rack mounting, hard drive installation, OS deployment) is a plus.
