What you will be working on
Be the source of courage and compassion. As a Paramedic Specialist (P.R.S) with the SCDF, you will be trained to provide first-class prehospital care. When others panic, you will remain calm, swiftly assessing and addressing patients' needs with expertise and precision.
As you progress in your career, you can expect to take up higher appointments such as chief paramedic, paramedic instructor, medical training coordinator, etc. In addition, each officer will have an opportunity to further their clinical knowledge and become a Level 4 Certified Paramedic.Good performing P.R.S can also look forward to accelerated advancement opportunities, where they can be directly promoted to the rank of lieutenant and beyond.
Upon joining SCDF, you will secure stable full-time employment with an attractive remuneration package. Candidates can earn between $2,800 to $4,259, inclusive of monthly frontline allowances.
As a successful applicant, you will receive a $30,000 sign-on bonus (subject to eligibility) upon emplacement. You will also stand to receive benefits from a range of perks and privileges, including:

- Male applicants must be PES B and above
- Minimum pass standard for IPPT
- For Pre-enlistees, there will be a 5-year Minimum Term of Engagement (MTE) bond in lieu of the National Service’s obligation.
