Operations Executive

The operations role is vital to the success of any organization. They play a crucial role in managing day-to-day tasks to ensure that operations run smoothly.

We are currently seeking a junior operation executive to join our team in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to the operations and trading and assisting with day-to-day operations. The operations executive will help ensure that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with the management of daily cargo operations, including coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth operations
• Handle demurrage and laytime calculation
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
• Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve any issues or concerns
• Respond to counterparty inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner, including negotiating sales and purchase contracts and managing efficient vessel schedules
• Provide support to the operations and trading department as needed

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in operations management particularly within the trading or oil and gas industry, with a strong understanding of oil logistics and trading processes field
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change quickly
• Demurrage knowledge preferred
