IT Support Engineer with Desktop & Laptop Provisioning

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated IT Support Engineer to support the provisioning, imaging, and deployment of desktops and laptops for end users. This role is ideal for candidates havingexperience with enterprise IT environments, hardware setup, and end-user support.

• Provision, image and configure desktops and laptops for new hires and existing users
• Install and configure operating systems, standard software, and enterprise applications
• Perform device setup including domain joining, user account configuration, and security policies
• Coordinate with IT teams to ensure devices meet company standards before deployment
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, OS, and software issues during provisioning
• Maintain accurate records of assets, device assignments, and inventory
• Assist with device refreshes, replacements, and decommissioning
• Follow documented IT procedures and imaging standards
• Provide basic end-user support during device handover

• Basic understanding of Windows OS (Windows 10/11)
• Knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware components
• Familiarity with OS installation, imaging, or system setup concepts
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, Wi‑Fi)
• Willingness to learn enterprise tools and IT processes
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to follow processes and work with checklists

• Exposure to tools such as SCCM, Intune, MDT, or similar imaging tools
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory or user account management
• Internship or academic project related to IT support or systems
• IT certifications (or currently pursuing): CompTIA A+, IT Fundamentals, etc.
