Sales Engineer/Field Service Engineer (Analytical/Scientific Instruments)

• Manage and support the distributor network in Southeast Asia, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to appoint and develop new distributors in untapped markets.
• Collaborate with distributors to plan market-specific sales strategies and meet sales targets.
• Track distributor performance, provide feedback, and support them with training, events, and customer visits.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ experience managing distributors in scientific or analytical instruments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with technical aptitude in related equipment.

• Install, commission, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair products.
• Address customer concerns and provide solutions to technical issues.
• Build lasting relationships with clients while delivering excellent service and support.
• Identify opportunities to secure new preventive maintenance contracts.
• Liaise with internal sales and technical teams to ensure effective service delivery.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in servicing scientific analytical instruments.
• Familiar with instruments such as Particle Size Analysers, XRF, Spectroscopy, and ICP.
• Excellent planning, time management skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Strong customer service orientation with a positive and proactive attitude.
