- Operations Management
- Oversee daily logistics and warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers or internal stakeholders.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Process Improvement & Efficiency
- Identify areas for improvement in logistics processes and implement solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Support automation and system improvements through Kaizen.
- Ensure proper documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are maintained and followed.
- Inventory Control
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper stock rotation and minimize losses or damages.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with transporters, suppliers, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Coordinate with internal departments to align logistics activities.
- Team Supervision
- Supervise and provide guidance and direction to subordinates including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
- Interprets and communicates work procedure and company policies to subordinates
- Provide training and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
- Assist in manpower planning and performance monitoring.
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, ISO and local authorities’ requirements.
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
- Support audits and ensure proper record-keeping.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, costs, and KPIs.
- Analyze data to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or relevant field
- Minimum 4 ~ 5 years’ experience in similar role in inventory, distribution and operation
- Demonstrate ability to lead and manage a team of staff
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of IATF16949 / ISO9001 requirements
