Mechanical Design Engineer

• Design and develop mechanical structures, generator-related components, sheet metal parts, and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Prepare detailed 2D/3D engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical documentation for manufacturing and production
• Perform engineering calculations, material selection, tolerance studies, and structural considerations to ensure design feasibility and product reliability
• Support prototyping, testing, design validation, and product improvement activities
• Troubleshoot mechanical and product quality issues, and recommend design enhancements for better performance and manufacturability
• Liaise closely with suppliers, production teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, preferably in generator structures, sheet metal fabrication, equipment structures, or related industrial/mechanical products
• Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for 2D drafting and 3D mechanical design
• Hands-on experience in sheet metal design, structural assemblies, fabrication drawings, and mechanical product development
• Familiar with BOM preparation, ECO processes, design revision control, and manufacturing documentation
• Knowledge of structural analysis, thermal considerations, welding/fabrication processes, or related mechanical engineering principles will be advantageous
