Assistant Manager / Management Trainee (Brand Operations)
About the Role
As an Assistant Manager / Management Trainee (Brand Operations) at The Retail’s Room Private Ltd, you will take on a hands-on, customer-facing leadership role that combines sales performance, service excellence, and day-to-day retail operations across our counters in the Central Region.
Based at a designated counter, you will remain actively involved on the sales floor while providing operational oversight across all counters. This role is suited for candidates who are sales-driven, operationally focused, and comfortable leading from the frontline in a focused, multi-brand retail setting.
You will support brand execution, team performance, inventory control, and service standards, while working closely with management to ensure consistent customer experiences across locations. The position offers practical exposure to people management, commercial performance, and operational coordination, with clear development opportunities within a growing lifestyle retail business.
Key Responsibilities- Sales & Brand Operations
- Drive sales performance and customer engagement
- Uphold brand standards, service quality, and visual presentation
- Support sales campaigns, promotions, and brand initiatives
- Team Leadership
- Lead and support a team of Retail Sales Associates
- Guide and motivate the team to achieve sales targets
- Assist with staff scheduling and daily coordination
- Customer Experience & Operations
- Deliver personalized customer service and build long-term customer relationships
- Support inventory control, stock replenishment, and basic reporting
- Ensure smooth day-to-day counter operations
- Sales-driven, responsible, and self-motivated
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, confident, and customer-focused
- Comfortable leading and working closely with a small team
- Able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Good command of English (Mandarin is a plus - We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.)
