Operations Executive (Freight)
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operations Executive (Freight) to join our dynamic team at Inter-Continental Freight Pte Ltd. In this full-time role based in the Bukit Batok West Region, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our freight forwarding business, ensuring efficient and seamless delivery of goods for our valued clients.
What you'll be doing- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive, clear communication across multiple channels
- Orchestrate end-to-end import and export shipment logistics, ensuring timely delivery and compliance
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with international agents to navigate complex shipping regulations across diverse markets
- Coordinate seamlessly between vendors, shippers, customers, carriers and overseas agents to resolve issues promptly
- Manage comprehensive logistics data entry with attention to detail and accuracy
- Process and verify all shipment documentation, ensuring proper billing and complete archive management
- Support team initiatives and special projects as directed by management

- 2-3 years of proven experience in freight forwarding operations
- Experience with international shipping regulations and documentation preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with ability to negotiate effectively
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel and database management
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced environments while maintaining a positive attitude
