Job Summary:
The Senior Executive, HR and Corporate Services will manage human resources functions and corporate secretarial duties for the Singapore Badminton Association and its group of companies. This role involves overseeing HR operations, including payroll, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and supporting the Board of Directors.The Senior Executive will report directly to the Group Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Human Resources Management:
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Manage employee relations, including handling grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Coordinate performance management and appraisal systems.
- Plan and execute training and development programs.
- Administer compensation and benefits.
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Corporate Secretarial Duties:
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for the association and its group of companies.
- Prepare and file statutory returns and documents with relevant authorities.
- Organise and attend Board and committee meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
- Maintain statutory registers and records.
- Liaise with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors.
- Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance principles and best practices.
- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment.
- Guide on corporate governance issues to the Board and senior management.
