Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and payroll processing.
  2. Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses to provide insights into the company's financial performance and position.
  3. Conduct asset management activities, including tracking, depreciation, and disposal, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  4. Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
  5. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with departmental managers to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  6. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, supporting their professional development within the organization.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Minimum 10 years' progressive accounting experience, with a focus on asset management.
  3. Thorough understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  4. Familiarity with accounting practices and regulations in Singapore.
  5. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  6. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  7. Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
